Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture
- Ensure the pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe
- Welcome guests and ensure their safety and comfort
- Provide guests with towels, shade, refreshments, and attend to their requests
- Clear used towels, glasses, and trash
- Enforce safety protocols set by the resort or hotel
- Monitor guests' activity and ensure their safety
- Report any damages or incidents to the supervisor
- Manage the pool cleaning schedule and conduct daily inspections
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in the hospitality industry
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and strong swimming abilities
- Able to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Capable of moving and lifting heavy furniture and equipment
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of pool equipment and safety measures
- Professional appearance and pleasant demeanor
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and after hours
