Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Fill and distribute medications as prescribed by doctors
- Monitor customers' medications and advise them on any potential side effects
- Instruct customers on how and when to take their medications
- Conduct health screenings and provide additional medical services, such as taking blood pressure and checking blood sugar levels
- Keep accurate records of customers' medications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete pharmacy tasks, such as verifying orders and removing expired medications
- Follow all legal rules and regulations related to pharmacy practice
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or pharmacology
- Previous experience as a pharmacist
- A valid pharmacist license
- Thorough understanding of dosages and medication administration
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
