We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to help customers by understanding their symptoms and providing immediate treatment or referring them to a doctor. You will also prepare medications by reviewing doctors' instructions and checking for any potential issues.

To do well in this role, you should be focused on customer service and stay updated on new developments in the field of pharmacy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fill and distribute medications as prescribed by doctors
  • Monitor customers' medications and advise them on any potential side effects
  • Instruct customers on how and when to take their medications
  • Conduct health screenings and provide additional medical services, such as taking blood pressure and checking blood sugar levels
  • Keep accurate records of customers' medications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete pharmacy tasks, such as verifying orders and removing expired medications
  • Follow all legal rules and regulations related to pharmacy practice
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or pharmacology
  • Previous experience as a pharmacist
  • A valid pharmacist license
  • Thorough understanding of dosages and medication administration
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
