We are looking for a friendly pet groomer to take care of all grooming tasks and make sure pets are neat, clean, and happy. This includes giving baths to pets of different sizes and temperaments, cutting or shaving fur, and removing tangled hair. You should also be responsible for making sure grooming tools and equipment are in good condition.
To be a great pet groomer, you need to follow pet owners' instructions and be able to handle any special requests they may have. Most importantly, you should treat all animals with love and care.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Untangling and brushing hair as needed
- Giving baths, using conditioner, and drying off pets
- Trimming nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears
- Grooming and styling pets according to owners' preferences or standard styles
- Accommodating any special requests from pet owners
- Noticing any health issues in pets, like ear infections or skin problems, and informing owners
- Making sure all pets are safe during grooming
- Cleaning work areas regularly

Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from the National Dog Groomer Association of America is helpful
- Previous experience as a professional groomer
- Good understanding of animal behavior
- Able to stand for long periods of time

- Able to lift heavy pets and equipment
- Excellent communication skills
