Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic personal trainer to inspire and guide our clients towards reaching their fitness goals. Your main responsibilities will include working with clients to create personalized training plans, teaching proper techniques, motivating them to push themselves, and providing feedback and support.

To be successful in this role, you should have advanced knowledge of various exercise techniques and how they benefit the body. Empathy and understanding of each client?s individual goals, emotions, and needs are also crucial qualities for this job.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand their goals and current fitness level.
  • Create customized workout and nutrition plans for each client.
  • Motivate and guide clients during training sessions.
  • Ensure clients exercise safely with proper form and technique.
  • Lead group workout classes on a regular basis.
  • Use your expertise to answer clients? questions.
  • Provide regular feedback and hold clients accountable for their progress.
  • Collaborate with management and colleagues to maintain the gym?s efficiency.
  • Promote the gym and attract new clients.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred personal training certification.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Prior experience as a personal trainer or group workout instructor.
  • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to demonstrate proper form and technique for exercises.
  • Positive and encouraging attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience creating effective nutrition and workout plans.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
