Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Staying informed about advancements in pathology and medical practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology, physical sciences, or a related field.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- 4-7 years of internship and residency training in pathology.
- Passing scores on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination of the United States (COMLEX-USA).
- Certification from The American Board of Pathology in pathology or a sub-specialty, such as hematology, forensic pathology, or transfusion medicine.
- Active and valid medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
- Experience using lab equipment like microscopes and flow cytometers.
- Familiarity with medical data management software, such as MEDITECH Anatomical Pathology, PATHLOGIX, and ASPYRA CyberLAB.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
