We are looking for a skilled metal stud framer to join our construction team. As a metal stud framer, your main responsibilities will include preparing equipment, selecting and securing metal studs, and covering frames with drywall. You may also supervise other construction workers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Read construction plans to determine how to build the walls.
- Get equipment and tools ready for the job, such as scaffolding, ladders, and power tools.
- Mark reference lines and points to make sure the frames are level.
- Cut metal studs and channels to the right size.
- Attach horizontal and vertical metal studs to the frames.
- Install drywall panels on the frames.
- Create openings in the drywall for outlets and fixtures.

- Supervise other construction workers when needed.
- Follow safety standards and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
