Job Description
We are looking for a creative and organized mechatronics engineer to join our team. Your job will be to make existing mechanical systems better, come up with ideas for new products, design and test mechanical and electronic systems, and develop automated systems.
To do this job well, you should be able to work under pressure and come up with practical solutions to problems. The best candidates know a lot about engineering and aren't afraid to try new things.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and improve mechanical and electronic systems.
- Create automated systems and the software to control them.
- Do research, write reports, and share your findings in meetings.
- Make plans for how to build mechanical parts and final products.
- Find problems in how things are made or in finished products and suggest ways to make them better.
- Understand problems or requests from clients and come up with solutions.
- Choose the right tools and materials for making things.
- Help train and support junior engineers or apprentices.
- Go to workshops, training, and conferences to meet others in the field and learn about new developments.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A degree in mechatronics engineering or something similar.
- Extra training or an apprenticeship would be helpful.
- Good at math, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
- Can work well on a team or by yourself.
- Self-motivated and passionate about engineering.
