We are looking for a friendly and skilled massage therapist to provide a variety of massage services to our guests. You will talk to clients to learn about any health issues they may have and help them choose the right services. It's important to perform massages safely to avoid wrist and body injuries. You will also answer questions and explain different treatments and packages in a kind and polite way.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to help clients choose the best services for their needs, be good at giving massages, and make sure our guests keep coming back. We are looking for someone who is friendly, customer-focused, and has good hand control.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend meetings and training sessions as needed
- Keep our spa clean, organized, and safe
- Set up work stations and keep them clean during your shift
- Help keep linens clean and switch them out between massages
- Sterilize equipment
- Escort clients to and from treatment rooms
- Talk to clients to figure out what kind of massage they need
- Provide the massages listed in our brochure
- Keep records and file paperwork
- Follow all rules and regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience as a massage therapist
- Know how to do reflexology, Swedish, prenatal, hot stone, trigger point, sports, and deep tissue massages
- Comfortable using a computer
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enjoy working with people
- Look clean and professional
- Can stand for a long time and have good hand control
- Feel comfortable giving massages to all types of clients
