A lot attendant works at a car dealership and is responsible for keeping the vehicle lot organized and well-maintained. They park cars in designated areas, check for any damage, and keep track of keys.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and energetic lot attendant to help us maintain our dealership's vehicle inventory and lot. You will be responsible for receiving new shipments, making sure all accessories are included, and arranging vehicles to maximize space. This includes parking new, used, wholesale, and waiting for title vehicles, as well as those waiting for maintenance and cleaning.

To be successful in this role, you need to be accountable and careful in your work. The ideal candidate is organized, can multitask, and pays great attention to detail.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in training and meetings.
  • Keep vehicles clean and presentable.
  • Organize and keep the lot free of trash and debris.
  • Park vehicles in designated areas.
  • Make sure all vehicles have dealership license plate frames.
  • Check new vehicles for factory stickers and selling price.
  • Keep track of and maintain keys.
  • Replace sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory.
  • Report any issues to supervisor.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must be 20 years or older.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Pass a drug and background screening.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
