Job Description
We are looking for a Logistics Associate to help with supply chain activities. You will work with the logistics manager to coordinate the transportation and storage of products and materials. Your responsibilities will include receiving deliveries, preparing shipments, talking to clients and carriers, tracking shipments, and managing inventory.
To be a successful Logistics Associate, you should be able to keep track of shipment records in digital databases and make sure shipments arrive on time. You should also be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage incoming and outgoing goods with little supervision.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Check incoming and outgoing shipments and confirm costs.
- Receive deliveries and prepare shipments.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels.
- Create and share shipment schedules.
- Work with vendors and carrier services to plan logistics and deadlines.
- Help customers and resolve problems with shipments.
- Prepare and keep track of shipment paperwork, records, and digital databases.
- Do extra tasks as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with at least three years of experience in logistics management or a similar job.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
- Experience with MS Office and managing databases.
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics.
- Good at organizing and managing time.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Able to sit, climb, and crouch, and lift and move products and materials.
