We are looking to hire an IT auditor with strong analytical skills and expertise in IT systems, applications, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and knowledge of cybersecurity trends.
To succeed in this role, an IT auditor must be able to maintain confidentiality while working with various technologies, troubleshooting network issues, and addressing security problems. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Review internal IT controls, evaluate their effectiveness, identify risks, and develop solutions.
- Troubleshoot security and network problems.
- Respond to system and network security breaches.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks.
- Participate in the change management process.
- Identify and address network and system vulnerabilities.
- Conduct efficient and effective IT audits.
- Communicate technical issues in simple terms to non-technical staff.
- Perform regular audits and provide recommendations.
- Evaluate and test application controls.
- Provide guidance on security and control risks.
- Develop a strong understanding of business processes and systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer information systems, or a related field (required).
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification (required).
- 2 years of experience as an IT Auditor.
- Experience with firewalls, Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security.
- Experience with financial and IT applications such as SAP, QAD, MFGPro, Peoplesoft, and Hyperion.
- Expertise in Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits.
- Familiarity with IT audit methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
