We are seeking a detail-oriented inventory controller to manage the inventory for our company. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating orders and deliveries, conducting regular inventory audits and analyses, and forecasting supply and demand to ensure consistent stock levels.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
  • Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices
  • Communicate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality stock
  • Coordinate purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing
  • Forecast supply and demand to ensure adequate stock availability
  • Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock situations
  • Analyze supply chain data and address any issues that arise
  • Generate reports on purchases, pricing, supply chain analysis, and inventory management
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report any issues to the supervisor

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory management software, such as NetSuite, Fishbowl, and Zoho Inventory
  • Thorough understanding of inventory management practices, such as ABC analysis and cycle counting
  • Strong analytical and logistical skills
