Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and determined independent sales representative to increase company sales by convincing customers to buy our products. As an independent sales representative, your responsibilities will include building relationships with customers, finding networking opportunities, answering customer questions, and reaching out to new customers through methods like cold-calling, email, and social media. You should also be able to use effective sales strategies to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong drive to reach sales targets with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-performing independent sales representative will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential customers by networking and following leads
  • Scheduling meetings with potential and current customers to showcase company products
  • Persuading customers to purchase our products by highlighting their benefits and features
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers and vendors to encourage purchases
  • Submitting purchase orders promptly for processing
  • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
