Job Description

We are looking for an experienced hypnotherapist to provide hypnotherapy services to clients using tailored hypnosis techniques. In this role, you will schedule sessions with clients, discuss their concerns, and teach them effective self-hypnosis techniques.

In order to be successful as a hypnotherapist, you should have patience, empathy, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations. Additionally, you should be skilled at interpreting clients' reactions during hypnosis and possess excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand the issues they want to address through hypnotherapy.
  • Explain how hypnotherapy can help with their concerns.
  • Describe the process of hypnosis to ensure clients are comfortable and understand what to expect.
  • Evaluate clients' susceptibility to suggestion and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Induce a hypnotic state using various techniques based on clients' susceptibility.
  • Observe and record clients' progress during hypnosis sessions.
  • Determine if additional sessions are needed based on clients' progress.
  • Provide clients with feedback after each session.
  • Address any questions or concerns clients may have.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate will have 200-300 hours of hypnotherapy training.
  • A graduate degree in psychology or related field with a hypnotherapy course is preferred.
  • A valid hypnotherapy certification from an accredited school may be required.
  • Must be licensed in the state of practice, if applicable.
  • Prior experience as a professional hypnotherapist is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of hypnosis techniques.
  • Ability to interpret clients' reactions during hypnosis.
  • Aptitude for remaining calm in stressful situations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
