Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and perform for live audiences, as well as attend rehearsals and studio sessions on time.
- Maintain all gear and tune guitars as needed.
- Practice on your own before rehearsals and studio sessions.
- Learn melodies, songs, and practice vocals when necessary.
- Attend PR events and maintain a positive online presence and image.
- Take feedback and suggestions well, and offer helpful suggestions to others.
- Travel to different venues for gigs.
- Network with other musicians and professionals in the industry.
- Prepare for and attend auditions.
- Experiment with different genres, types of guitars, and improve improvisation techniques.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Formal training in guitar playing.
- Ability to play multiple instruments is a plus.
- Experience playing guitar in a band or as a solo performer.
- Knowledge of various music genres and how to maintain a guitar.
- Passion, dedication, and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
