As a fulfillment associate, you will unload stock deliveries, process work orders, find merchandise, and pack orders for shipping. You will also need to use warehouse equipment like forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.

To be successful as a fulfillment associate, you should know about warehousing, pay attention to details, and be able to lift heavy things. The best fulfillment associates quickly and correctly process orders while following safety and quality rules.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Unload delivery trucks carrying merchandise to the warehouse.
  • Put incoming deliveries in the right storage areas.
  • Use pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and forklifts in the warehouse.
  • Read and understand work orders.
  • Find and get merchandise from shelves and storage areas.
  • Make sure the work order matches the merchandise information.
  • Check for damage, flaws, and problems with the merchandise.
  • Pack merchandise for shipping.
  • Take packed items to the delivery trucks.
  • Finish the work order and update the database.
  • Follow health and safety rules.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Know about warehousing helpful.
  • Worked as a fulfillment associate before.
