Job Description

We are looking for friendly and well-presented front of house staff to join our team. Your main duties may include welcoming guests, showing them to their tables, and communicating their orders to the kitchen. You will also be responsible for giving customers their bill at the end of their meal.

To be successful in this role, you should be outgoing, personable, and able to handle stressful situations. Exceptional front of house staff will also be able to recommend nearby activities or attractions to customers from out of town.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing reservations made in person, over the phone, or online.
  • Directing customers to the bar if they arrive early for their table.
  • Guiding customers to their tables and providing them with menus.
  • Taking and relaying food and drink orders to the appropriate staff.
  • Serving drinks as needed.
  • Bringing food orders from the kitchen to the correct table.
  • Clearing tables and dishes after customers have finished their meal, or upon request.
  • Giving customers their bill at the end of their meal.
  • Reporting any broken dishes or glasses.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Professional appearance with no visible tattoos or extreme hair/makeup.
  • Following the dress code and maintaining a neat appearance.
  • Strong communication and memorization skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
  • Physically fit.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to help with additional tasks as needed.
