Job Description

We are looking for an experienced framing carpenter to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to build and repair the framework of different structures according to construction plans. This will involve measuring and cutting building materials, assembling them, and making sure they are straight and level. You will also be responsible for building door and window frames, stairs, and floors, as well as installing temporary supports when needed. Additionally, you should be able to hang drywall on the completed framework.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to read and understand blueprints and have a good understanding of building codes and safety regulations. You should also be a problem solver and able to complete tasks efficiently and on time.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and shape lumber and other building materials accurately
  • Attach building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts
  • Erect temporary structures like scaffolds and hoists
  • Repair damaged or weak framework structures
