Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Find ways to make food cheaper without sacrificing quality.
- Talk to people about food safety and make sure our products are safe.
- Use special computer programs to make and update recipes.
- Help create new food products from the very beginning to when they are sold in stores.
- Send out samples of our products for people to try.
- Update information about our products for people who want to sell them.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data from our research.
- Work with outside labs to test our food.
- Keep track of our inventory and make sure it is accurate.
- Follow safety rules and make sure our food is made safely.
- Do other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree in a science field like agriculture, biology, or chemistry.
- Ability to use different resources to make new and better food.
- Experience working in a lab.
- Understanding of data science.
- Good at talking and writing.
- Willingness to travel and work on weekends or at night for special projects.
