We are seeking a financial advisor to join our team. In this role, you will work with clients to understand their financial goals and risk tolerance, and then recommend a suitable financial plan. To be successful in this highly regulated position, you must have the required licenses and extensive knowledge of the latest financial products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Talking to clients to gather information about their income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives.
- Answering client questions and providing financial advice.
- Developing strategies for clients in areas such as insurance, investments, and cash management to help them reach their financial goals.
- Regularly reviewing client accounts and plans to identify any necessary changes.
- Analyzing financial data to create personalized strategies for clients.
- Preparing summaries of financial documents and reports for clients.
- Implementing financial plans or referring clients to other professionals for assistance.
- Managing and updating client portfolios.
- Communicating with clients regularly to stay updated on their financial status.
- Building and maintaining a client base.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales.
- Current FINRA Series 7 and 63 Securities Registration (66 or 65 preferred).
- Life and health insurance license.
- Valid driver?s license.
- Knowledge of mutual funds, securities, and insurance industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
- Experience providing quality financial advice.
