Job Description
We are looking for a skilled ERP consultant to help us set up and manage our ERP software. In this role, you will work with our management team to understand our needs, assess our IT infrastructure, and design and implement ERP solutions.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of IT systems and be able to document ERP processes. A great ERP consultant will have the technical expertise to improve business processes, services, and human resource management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Consulting with clients to determine their ERP needs through discussions, analyzing business processes, and observing operations.
- Evaluating current IT infrastructure and making recommendations for improvements to support ERP implementation.
- Creating and customizing ERP solutions.
- Writing programs and scripts to make the software user-friendly and efficient.
- Implementing ERP solutions and ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
- Running tests, troubleshooting issues, and improving performance.
- Providing training and technical support to end-users of the ERP software.
- Documenting ERP processes and providing progress updates.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest ERP developments and offerings.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Specialization in business administration or a related field (advantageous).
- Certification in ERP software, such as SAP ERP Business Process Integration or Oracle?s SaaS ERP.
- At least 2 years of experience as an ERP consultant in a similar industry.
- Extensive knowledge of business processes, ERP development tools, and coding languages.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
