We are seeking a confident EMT to join our team. In this role, you will provide patients with basic life support and safely transport them to medical facilities. You will work closely with other emergency medical personnel, such as paramedics, to stabilize patients and ensure they receive proper care. It is important that you maintain a professional demeanor, represent our company positively, continue your education to keep your state licensure, and take responsibility for all patient care.
To be successful in this role, you must remain calm in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions. We are looking for candidates who are physically fit, knowledgeable, and have excellent communication skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend crew meetings and training events.
- Operate emergency vehicles safely and effectively.
- Respond to emergency calls from dispatchers.
- Assess patients' conditions and monitor their response to treatment.
- Evaluate the severity of emergency situations and determine if additional help is needed.
- Help control crowds and protect valuable items at emergency scenes.
- Assist with administering Advanced Life Support when needed.
- Coordinate the transfer of patients to medical facilities.
- Communicate with healthcare facilities about patients' vital signs and conditions.
- Maintain emergency vehicles, stations, and medical equipment.
- Complete patient care reports and other necessary documentation.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and medical protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications

- Current EMT certification.

- CEVO ambulance certificate.
