- Establishing evacuation routes to ensure safe and efficient evacuation.
- Coordinating temporary shelters for those affected by disasters.
- Arranging the delivery of essential supplies, such as food, water, and medical aid, to disaster areas.
- Assisting communities in applying for federal funding after a natural disaster.
- Serving as a liaison between federal, state, local, and municipal agencies to maximize disaster relief efforts.
- Preparing reports on recovery efforts, needs, and damage assessments for emergency situations.
- Developing and implementing community outreach programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public safety, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in emergency management.
