Job Description

We are seeking an experienced elevator mechanic to maintain and service elevators, escalators, and mechanical walkways for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for installing new elevators, conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, repairing or replacing parts, and performing safety tests.

To be successful as an elevator mechanic, you should have advanced knowledge of elevator systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and be able to work flexible hours. The best elevator mechanics are able to install, repair, and maintain systems with minimal downtime for our clients.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install elevators, escalators, and mechanical walkways.
  • Respond to mechanical failures and malfunctions.
  • Test and install electrical systems.
  • Maintain and service machine parts.
  • Repair or replace system parts.
  • Lubricate moving parts.
  • Conduct safety checks.
  • Manage stock and order supplies.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in a relevant mechanical field.
