We are looking for a hard-working and experienced DZ driver to deliver goods to our customers on time. You also need to keep the truck clean and let your supervisor know about any accidents or traffic violations involving the company truck. It's important to make sure the items you transport don't weigh more than the allowed amount.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive safely to deliver goods to customers, following instructions from the company.
  • Check the truck before and after each trip to make sure it's safe to drive.
  • Secure items properly to prevent accidents or damage during transportation.
  • Supervise loading and unloading to avoid any damage to the cargo.
  • Get customers' signatures after each delivery to confirm they received the right items and amount.
  • Plan your travel route considering things like road construction, traffic, and bad weather to make sure you deliver on time.
  • Do maintenance work on the truck when needed.
  • Let dispatch know right away about any problems with deliveries, damaged cargo, or breakdowns.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A valid DZ driver's license.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a DZ driver.
  • Good knowledge of road safety rules.
  • The ability to drive in bad weather.
