Dishwashers are responsible for keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and ready for guests, by washing dishes, bussing tables, and performing other tasks to maintain a clean and organized environment.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and organized dishwasher to join our team. As a dishwasher, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be responsible for clearing tables, washing dishes, and setting up tables for the next guests. You will also assist with restocking items, unloading deliveries, cleaning appliances, and other tasks as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should be a team player with good time management skills. You should also be able to prioritize tasks and follow food safety regulations and procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clearing and washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to ensure clean and available dishes for guests.
  • Preparing the kitchen and dining areas for the next shift by cleaning and restocking items.
  • Cleaning appliances and equipment used in the kitchen.
  • Unloading and storing deliveries.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if there are spills or broken items.
  • Taking out the trash and cleaning garbage cans.
  • Assisting other restaurant staff with tasks as needed.
  • Reporting any accidents or food safety violations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No previous work experience required.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Willingness to follow all food safety procedures.
