We are looking for creative individuals with expertise in camera and lighting equipment. As a director of photography, you will be responsible for ordering and testing equipment, supervising a crew, and editing visual elements in post production.
You will work closely with the film director to determine the visual style that will enhance the storytelling.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a unique visual style for the film.
- Determine lighting requirements on set.
- Select the best camera angles and frames for each scene.
- Order and test camera and lighting equipment.
- Supervise the camera crew and direct camera movement.
- Select the appropriate film stock.
- Adjust camera settings, such as aperture and focus.
- Control lighting conditions, both natural and artificial.
- Coordinate with electricians to ensure proper power supply.
- Decide on elements like filters, shutter angles, focus, and camera distance.
- Edit visual elements in post production.
