Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with hair by cutting, shampooing, styling, and coloring using chemical solutions like bleaches and dyes.
- Use equipment such as scissors, clippers, curlers, straighteners, and dryers.
- Care for and sell wigs and hairpieces.
- Provide skin care treatments like scalp massages and facials using lotions and creams.
- Shape eyebrows and remove or trim unwanted facial hair.
- Give demonstrations and advice on makeup application.
- Care for nails by softening and trimming cuticles, shaping nails, and applying polish.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications
