Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and install new printers, copiers, scanners, and copier software.
- Do regular maintenance on copiers, scanners, printers, and fax machines.
- Fix broken cartridges, printers, and copiers.
- Write reports and manuals for fixing and training.
- Show people how to use the equipment.
- Manage orders and keep track of new equipment, parts, and materials.
- Provide great customer service and help.
- Handle schedules and urgent customer needs.
- Stay updated on new technology and methods in the field.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Finished high school or have a GED.
- Preferably have a CompTIAA+ or Network+ certification.
- At least 2 years of experience as a copier technician.
- Know a lot about printers and copiers.
- Have a valid driver's license and a way to get around.
- Be good at managing time and being organized.
- Have good writing and speaking skills.
- Know a lot about computer and copier software like MS Office, Xerox, and Ricoh.
- Be really friendly and helpful with customers.
- Be good at thinking and solving problems.
- Be able to work at any time or help customers in emergencies.
