Job Description
We are looking for a reliable construction inspector to inspect buildings and other structures, such as bridges, highways, and dams. You will check the foundations, plumbing, and electrical circuits to make sure they are safe and meet regulations. You will also inspect heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Additionally, you will identify any environmental hazards, like poor air or water quality, and inspect structures that have been affected by natural disasters.
In this role, you will also have to issue violation notices and stop-work orders if any structures or materials do not meet regulations. You will work with other stakeholders to address any issues and make sure that the structures are safe for use.
To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of engineering principles and safety regulations. You should also have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Attend pre-construction meetings when needed.
- Review construction plans and specifications to ensure they meet regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as a construction inspector.
- Trained in confined space and OSHA construction safety.
- Strong knowledge of fall protection and work zone safety.
- ACI certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and shifts.
