Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze the script and work with the director to determine the visual approach for the film.
- Research and scout potential filming locations, taking into account factors like props, lighting, and weather.
- Select and source equipment, tools, and crew members needed for filming.
- Visit locations to take test shots and determine the best angles, filters, film stock, and techniques for the desired atmosphere.
- Approve costumes, makeup, hair, and set design to ensure they align with the overall vision of the film.
- Train crew members on how to safely use new or modified equipment.
- Attend cast rehearsals and provide input when necessary.
- Collaborate with the post-production team to preserve the desired effects and maintain the mood of the film.

Requirements and Qualifications
