We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated choir director to provide musical guidance and direction to our choir members. This role involves welcoming audiences before performances, teaching vocal techniques to choir members, managing the choir's budget, and resolving conflicts among members. You will also work with accompanists to enhance musical pieces.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Warm up choir members before rehearsals and performances
  • Select appropriate music for performances based on the venue and occasion
  • Establish and enforce performance dress code
  • Conduct auditions to select choir members
  • Schedule and ensure regular attendance at rehearsals
  • Choose choir members for solo performances
  • Provide guidance during rehearsals to improve tone, pitch, rhythm, tempo, and harmony
