Job Description
We are looking for skilled CNAs to join our team. As a CNA, you will provide excellent care and support for patients and residents on a daily basis. To succeed in this role, you must have a state-issued CNA certification and have completed a recognized CNA training program.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with daily tasks and providing physical support.
- Answering patient calls and determining the best way to help them.
- Assisting with personal hygiene, such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom.
- Turning and repositioning bedridden patients.
- Ensuring patients receive the appropriate diet based on their restrictions, allergies, and preferences.
- Communicating with physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Recording vital signs and reporting any changes to medical staff.
- Checking for any medical issues that require attention, such as wounds or bruises.
- Reminding patients to take medications and supplements.
- Noting and reporting any changes in patient behavior or symptoms.
- Staying up-to-date on CNA training and facility policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- State-issued Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completion of a recognized CNA training program.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid identification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good personal hygiene.
