We are looking for a reliable and caring caregiver to join our team and provide excellent care to our clients. The caregiver will create a daily care plan for clients, follow instructions from medical professionals, and inform us of any changes in their condition or needs.

To be a successful caregiver, you should be patient, understanding, and have good people skills. You should also be observant and dedicated to making your client feel safe and comfortable.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting with personal care, such as helping with bathroom trips, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
  • Following a care plan, which may include helping with exercise and giving medication
  • Organizing the client's home to fit their needs and ensuring safety measures are in place. You may also be asked to do light housework.
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement for daily tasks
  • Assisting with mobility, like helping the client get in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair
  • Transporting or accompanying the client to medical appointments and other outings
  • Notifying us of any changes in the client's health, behavior, or needs

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma is necessary
  • Additional education may be helpful
  • Prior job experience and CPR training may be required
  • A driver's license may be preferred
  • A professional and friendly attitude
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights
