We are looking for a hardworking busser to support our serving staff at our restaurant. Your main responsibilities will include cleaning, clearing, and setting tables, keeping restaurant supplies and equipment clean and well-maintained, and assisting customers with any needs or concerns.
To be successful in this role, organization and attention to detail are crucial. A good busser should be efficient, have good manual dexterity, and provide excellent customer service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating customers, and giving them menus.
- Helping customers with questions or requests, and directing them to the appropriate staff member if needed.
- Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables between customers.
- Serving food and refilling drinks as necessary.
- Assisting with cleaning dirty dishes and silverware.
- Ensuring menus, dishes, and silverware are clean and restocked for each table.
- Managing inventory of napkins, straws, salt, pepper, and other supplies.
- Reporting any damages, shortages, or customer complaints to the manager.
- Moving tables, chairs, and other furniture as needed to accommodate customers.
- Tidying up the restaurant after service and preparing for the next shift.
Requirements and Qualifications
