Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Talk to customers and find out their preferences and expectations for their wedding dress.
- Guide customers on different styles, colors, and cuts of wedding dresses to choose from.
- Keep track of the wedding dress inventory and where each dress is located in the store.
- Take accurate measurements to find the right dress for each customer.
- Suggest dress styles and cuts that flatter different body types.
- Advise customers on different fabrics and their pros and cons.
- Help customers choose accessories like jewelry, veils, gloves, and headpieces to complete their look.
- Assist with dress fittings and any necessary alterations.
- Schedule follow-up fittings and arrange for dress pick-up and delivery.
- Keep the store manager informed about current bridal fashion trends and styles.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in bridal styling, fashion design, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Bridal Stylist or similar role.
- Previous experience in sales is a plus.
- Excellent fashion sense and ability to create stylish bridal looks.
- Good at understanding and meeting customer preferences.
- Experience in recommending dresses and fabrics for different body types.
- Familiarity with selecting accessories to enhance the overall look.
- Knowledge of current bridal fashion trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
