We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The main responsibilities of the role include setting up and clearing the breakfast service, keeping the buffet fully stocked, and taking customers' drink orders. The ideal candidate should also be able to assist customers with any questions or concerns they may have.
To be successful in this role, the Breakfast Attendant must work closely with other staff members to ensure that all customers' needs are met. They should also be knowledgeable about food options and able to suggest choices that meet customers' dietary needs and preferences.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and take down the breakfast buffet before and after meal times
- Keep the breakfast buffet fully stocked at all times
- Take and relay drink orders from customers
- Provide condiments to customers upon request
- Clear tables of dishes and utensils
- Resolve any customer questions or complaints
- Ensure all customers leave the restaurant by the end of meal service
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors after each meal service
- Clean and sanitize tables and countertops after each meal service
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
