Job Description
We are looking for a skilled benefits specialist to join our HR department. Your main role will be to manage our employee benefits program by helping employees enroll in pension and health insurance plans and providing them with information about their benefits.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong organizational skills and a good understanding of different benefits processes. It is also important to be a clear and effective communicator, able to explain legal and tax information to employees.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Make sure employees are aware of the benefits offered by the company
- Assist employees with enrolling in savings and insurance plans
- Answer any questions employees have about their benefits
- Communicate with insurance and savings providers to resolve issues
- Give presentations to educate employees about their benefits
- Inform employees about any changes to the benefits program
- Ensure the company's benefits and leave of absence policies follow the law
- Keep accurate records of each employee's benefits profile
- Calculate the cost of each benefit offered by the company
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources
- Experience working in human resources and benefits management
- Preferably certified in CEBS, CMS, or GBA
- Proficient with computers and payroll software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
