The AZ Driver's duties include safely securing goods, finding ways to save fuel, and supervising the loading and unloading of goods. They also need to keep a record of any maintenance or repairs done on the truck.

To be a successful AZ Driver, you should know and follow road safety rules and be able to focus for long periods of time. You should also be able to follow company policies and have good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely drive goods to and from different locations.
  • Keep an accurate record of pick-ups, drop-offs, rest breaks, mileage, fuel usage, and toll fees.
  • Make sure the truck is correctly labeled if carrying hazardous materials.
  • Plan routes to make sure goods are delivered on time.
  • Regularly check and maintain the truck to make sure it is safe to drive.
  • Communicate with supervisors about completed deliveries and any delays.
  • Keep the truck clean and presentable.
