Our company is growing and we are seeking an automotive technician to join our team. You should have experience as an auto mechanic for cars and light trucks, as well as an ASE certificate. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems.
- Communicate with customers about repairs and provide excellent customer service.
- Create repair plans using manuals and past experience.
- Test the functionality of vehicle parts and systems.
- Perform basic tasks like oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
- Replace and repair brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts.
- Complete routine maintenance and general mechanic work.
- Willing to obtain additional certifications as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Read, interpret, and record data accurately.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as a lube technician, or willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with heavy equipment, diesel mechanics, or diesel engine knowledge, or willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
