An assembly operator is responsible for building products for a company based on blueprints and instructions. They work on an assembly line and ensure that products are fully assembled and that safety protocols are followed. They also troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic assembly operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for building our product on the assembly line according to specific schematics. You will also inspect finished products, pack boxes, unload materials, and follow safety protocols.

To be successful as an assembly operator, you should have great attention to detail and be able to identify even the smallest imperfections in products. You should also have a strong understanding of proper assembly procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow blueprints, instructions, or schematics to build products on the assembly line.
  • Ensure safety and efficiency by following established procedures.
  • Inspect assembled products for any defects.
  • Load and pack products onto the assembly line.
  • Stop production if there is a machinery failure or major defect.
  • Maintain records of repairs and report any issues to management.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience working on an assembly line
