Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing better ways to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops to improve yield and solve problems for clients.
- Researching and promoting farming strategies to adapt to changes in soil, climate, weather, and pests.
- Visiting fields to collect samples of seeds, plants, and soil.
- Testing samples for nutrient deficiencies, diseases, or other issues.
- Assisting with selecting and testing plants.
- Keeping detailed records of fields, customers, crops, and samples.
- Creating reports and sharing findings with management, clients, or others interested.
- Teaching others about products and techniques through presentations.
- Managing a team of scientists during field visits or lab work.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in agronomy, agriculture, or a related field.

- Ability to work outside and do physical tasks like standing, walking, kneeling, and stooping.
