Our mission is to bridge the digital divide and empower the next generation of tech leaders. We believe that by providing access to computer science education, we can create a more equitable and inclusive tech industry.
Founded in 2013, Mission Bit has grown to become a leader in providing computer science education to underrepresented communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. We offer a variety of programs, including after-school classes, summer camps, and workshops, all taught by experienced industry professionals.
At Mission Bit, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science, regardless of their background or financial situation. That's why all of our classes are completely free for students. We also prioritize reaching students from underserved communities, including students of color, low-income students, and girls.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential. We believe that diversity in tech is essential for creating innovative solutions and addressing the challenges of our rapidly evolving digital world. That's why we actively recruit and support a diverse group of students, volunteers, and staff.
