Job Title: Wintel L2 Support Engineer
Location: Navi Mumbai
Department: IT Infrastructure / Server Operations
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 support for Windows server-related incidents and service requests.
Perform routine server maintenance, patching, and performance monitoring.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user account management.
Support and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
Work with backup tools and ensure scheduled backups are successful.
Collaborate with L1 support to escalate/resolve complex issues.
Document resolutions, procedures, and configuration changes.
Coordinate with vendors and other IT teams for hardware/software issues.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
35 years of experience in Wintel support or system administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022).
Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
Hands-on with VMware or Hyper-V environments.
Good understanding of server hardware, storage, and backup solutions.
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (MCSA / MCSE / AZ-800/AZ-801)
VMware VCP or equivalent
ITIL Foundation certification
