Warehouse Specialist ? Pace, FL

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the Indirect Procurement Supply Chain organization.

JOB DUTIES

Overall ownership of the warehouse and warehousing functions for MRO and MRP material and equipment.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and parts. Oversee the receiving process to ensure all goods received are correct and quality inspected. Ensure items are properly stored and marked with critical information. Promote FIFO and rotate stocks to consume oldest stocks first. Oversee the pulling of parts for jobs according to work order requirements. Manage warehouse repairable spare parts. Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity. Maintain system to identify when stock is obsolete, excessive, or not needed.

Manage cycle counts and correct inventory variances in real time. Perform annual physical inventory and any random audit counts as requested. Support sister site in physical inventory preparation. Create / revise / release SAP purchase requisitions. Confirm receipt of PO by vendor and verify delivery dates. Actively monitors backlog list and follows up on order status.

Communicate potential outages and points of exposure to management team in a timely manner to avoid production stoppage. Process returns and credits of materials. Resolve invoicing issues. Track and report monthly accruals. Proficient in all stockkeeper tasks and provide stockkeeper with support and training. Fill in as needed for Stockkeeper. Develop written warehouse procedures. Develop and maintain process to manage fleet maintenance, rental equipment and compressed gas cylinders deliveries.

EDUCATION

High school diploma or GED required.

Associate degree or higher preferred.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience working in a manufacturing plant

Forklift certification desired

Proficient working in SAP R3 procurement modules required.

Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Must have good organizational skills

Be a team player

Have or possess the ability to learn the Eastman materials management process, and knowledge of a variety of software packages including corporate systems (i.e., Intranet, Internet, Microsoft Office products, etc.)

Be willing to work varied schedules and overtime

Be able to perform all the essential elements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
