Knowledge Centre India (KCI)

Established in January 2005, KCI in Gurgaon, works in close collaboration with the Global offices of Egon Zehnder. There are 5 teams that make up KCI: Research, Research Operations, Visual Solutions, Projects/CV Capture and Digital IT.

The Global Visual Solutions Team

The Global Visual Solutions team was started in 2011 to provide professional formatting and presentation finalization capability in the Firm.

Currently, the team has 18 members working across 3 shifts to provide 24/5 coverage to offices worldwide. The team supports consultants, researchers, practice leaders, and partners by providing support across business documents, marketing, and digital communication assets.

The team works on document conversion, brand adherence, and provide design solutions across various medium and platforms. The team provides brand and template adherence support across all internal and external communication. Additionally, the team works with the global community to create innovative videos, thought papers, newsletters, merchandise and many other custom supports.

The position

Visual Solutions Specialist- eLearning

Global Visual Solutions seeks an experienced eLearning designer to work with its eLearning design team to design eLearning Modules using Articulate 360 and other design software. As an eLearning specialist, you will be part of our journey to strengthen our brand and design delivery to the global Egon Zehnder organization. You will join the Global Visual Solutions Group in Gurgaon, a team with a strong focus on brand and design, understanding the power of storytelling through visual communication that engages our clients, candidates, employees, and society.

Global Visual Solutions is part of the Knowledge Center India and provides creative services on business and marketing documents firmwide. Our mission is to deliver on-brand, user-friendly visual design, and solutions to Egon Zehnder stakeholders.

The eLearning Specialist works with SMEs, trainers, and content creators to design impactful and interactive learning modules by understanding their content and training needs. The role will involve designing, creating, maintaining, and evolving training modules to keep them engaging and assist in managing the pipeline for the eLearning team.

The eLearning Specialist will report to the Service Leader, Rajeev Khanna, the Global Visual Solutions Team at KCI.

Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:

Domain

• Implementing trainers' vision and content to articulate-based modules. The work may involve sketching, storyboards, visualization, and ideation.
• The specialist will create end-to-end online learning modules, scoping from the initial need to the full concept using retention & knowledge transition methodologies appropriate to the learning generation of the audience.
• Beta testing and debugging before delivery.
• Updating and refining existing learning content and recommending different design applications and layouts that would improve the learner experience.
• Experience designing learning across different modalities and delivery methods (ex. instructor-led, self-led, in-person, virtual, e-learning, etc.
• Maintaining organized project files and understanding the ADDIE development model, instructional analysis, and experience meeting milestones.
• Ability to understand the Brand guidelines and work with a team of experienced content and graphic designers to evolve the brand's visual tone while meeting training objectives. Visually focused and able to see subtle nuances in colors, textures, animation, and grid.

Overall

• Working with the client to convert content into a seamless visual flow, learning activities, exercises, assessments, and interface design.?This will also involve educating and handholding the stakeholders in preparing suitable content and module outlines.
• Independently converting the approved storyboard to the actual module with interactions, content, and graphics. Leading content and graphics team members for creating exceptional narratives and visuals.
• Demonstration of experience/success in developing dynamic, interactive, and user-friendly multimedia training solutions utilizing a variety of development software/skills.

Knowledge/Experience

• Relevant work experience of 6-8 years or more as an interaction designer, digital content creator, or related role preferably with an agency and corporate.

• Min experience of 4+ years in eLearning services with the ability to manage the requests end to end (understand requests, clarify questions directly with the requestor, and deliver with minimal to no support).

• The ideal candidate is familiar and comfortable with the following programs/skills:

• Articulate 360 Suite most importantly Storyline 360 and Rise
• Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• PowerPoint as a design tool
• Any short Video creation plugins and application

• A strong portfolio demonstrating your passion for ideation, creative solutions, and immersive learning experiences.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Understanding of the ADDIE development model, instructional analysis, and experience meeting milestones.
• Visualizing and creating proof of concepts for specific requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Skills

• Applying relevant trends and best practices in adult learning theory and instructional design
• Strong feel for balance in layouts, color, and other graphical principles that are important for graphic design
• Ability to handle multiple iterations with a focused approach and ensuring an error free output
• Propose new content ideas and contribute to enhancing content
• Strong media design expertise in an eLearning context; from concept visualization to the development of relevant industry tools
• Work with stakeholders to understand their articulated and unstated design needs and goals to bring ideas to life
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team, across multiple time zones and build and manage client relationships
• Experience in working on projects gained working with a professional services firm, a global consultancy firm, and/or large private and/or public sector organizations
• Timing: Willingness to work in flexible shift timings to work with a global team
• Education: Graduate/ Postgraduate
