Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to join our executive leadership team. This role will play a critical part in driving financial performance, establishing scalable financial processes, and bringing financial maturity to a fast-growing organization. As VP of Finance, you will lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), oversee annual audits, and implement best practices to enhance financial discipline and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Planning:
  Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on long-term growth and profitability.
• Operational Finance:
  Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to deliver timely and accurate financial insights to leadership.
• Audit Management:
  Lead and manage the annual audit process, ensuring compliance and readiness for all financial reviews.
• Cash Flow & Capital Management:
  Monitor and optimize cash flow and working capital, implementing strategies to ensure financial stability.
• Team Leadership:
  Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team, driving accountability and alignment with company objectives.
• Financial Maturity:
  Implement systems, controls, and processes to bring financial rigor and maturity to a start-up environment.
• Data-Driven Decision Making:
  Provide actionable insights and recommendations using advanced financial modeling and analysis.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
  Ensure adherence to financial regulations and implement effective risk management policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a VP or similar role.
• Experience managing annual audits and preparing for external financial reviews.
• Strong track record of scaling financial operations and introducing financial maturity in start-up or high-growth environments.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams is a plus.
• Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including managing recurring revenue or subscription-based business models.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning specific to subscription or SaaS revenue streams.
