Vehicle Assembly Technician

• Prepare & Organize : Assist with pre-assembly, pinning, and kitting of materials for builds, ensuring readiness for testing.
• Build & Maintain : Construct, operate, and maintain test fixtures, setups, and related equipment.
• Assemble with Precision : Perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and light fabrication techniques.
• Manage Inventory & Logistics : Oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory of test components and equipment.
• Troubleshoot & Support : Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting test harnesses, cables, and enclosures.
• Document & Improve : Record assembly procedures, track part usage, and update system documentation to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Ensure Safety & Organization : Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

Experience : 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, test system support, or a related field.
Technical Skills : Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques.
Attention to Detail : Experience in pre-assembly, pinning, and kitting of materials for builds.
Organizational Strength : Strong skills in inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration.

Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, and Confluence for project and inventory tracking.
Experience in a fast-paced R&D environment with test systems and prototype builds.

High School or equivalent
