Job Description

Downstream or Upstream Manufacturing Scientist

We are recruiting for an innovative biotech company in Piscataway, NJ, that is rapidly growing after securing two FDA approvals and developing a robust pipeline. As the company transitions from R&D to commercial operations, they are expanding their manufacturing capacity from 50L to 2000L by year-end and plan to double their workforce within the next two years.

We are looking for multiple Manufacturing Scientists from Junior to Principal level to join their Upstream or Downstream teams and assist with the manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Upstream:

At least 1-2 years of experience in cell culture and bioreactor operations, including GMP and Aseptic Manufacturing experience
Proficiency with single-use manufacturing consumables (e.g., bags, tube sets, columns) and prior experience in scale-up manufacturing activities

Downstream:

At least 1-2 years of experience in Downstream Processing with demonstrated expertise in TFF (Tangential Flow Filtration) operations
Hands-on experience in running chromatography systems and column packing, with knowledge in Unicorn software
Familiarity with depth filtration processes and knowledge of cGMP
