Underground Cabling Crew

Aspen Fiber Networks, a leading information technology solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Underground Cabling Crew to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground fiber optic cables for our clients' projects.

As a member of the Underground Cabling Crew, you will work closely with other team members to ensure the successful deployment of underground cabling systems. You will be responsible for excavating trenches, laying conduits, pulling and splicing fiber optic cables, and performing necessary tests and quality checks.

• Pull and splice fiber optic cables in underground conduits.
• Perform testing and quality checks on the installed cables and connections.
• Repair and maintain underground cabling systems as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work activities and completed projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in underground cabling installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for underground cabling.
• Experience with excavating trenches and laying conduits.
• Ability to pull and splice fiber optic cables in underground conduits.
• Familiarity with testing and quality assurance procedures for fiber optic cables.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
